Abstract
(p,α) reactions on near magic nuclei was used to assign unambiguously spin and parity to higher excited states using the homology concept, in the regions A∼208 and A∼90. Here some preliminary results, both experimental and theoretical for the 122Sn(p,α)119In reaction are presented. © 2001 American Institute of Physics.
